Pirelli motorsport tires for tarmac, gravel, snow and ice, in multiple sizes and types.
Choose your surface:
Tarmac
P Zero RA: The asymmetric tread pattern is designed for use on dry or damp asphalt, and is comprised of two longitudinal grooves positioned in the internal part of the tire to ensure effective water drainage whilst the outer part of the tread due to the asymmetric profile presents a flatter and less grooved footprint which contributes to maximising grip and lateral stability. Tread profile combined with support from the unique geometry of the belt package offer the optimised footprint area to the road surface.
The available tread compounds are Soft and Hard, the Supersoft compound is available only for Monte Carlo.
Cinturato RWB: This tire is designed specifically for full wet asphalt conditions and has a symmetric directional tread pattern comprised of three deep longitudinal grooves and transversal grooves that are positioned to ensure an efficient water dispersion to counteract aquaplaning in the most extreme conditions.
Careful analysis of the contact area and pressure distribution as fundamental development steps in the correct positioning of grooves to ensure the maximum water evacuation and driving stability in the conditions of use.
Gravel
SCORPION™: reinforced sidewall and directional asymmetric tread pattern ensure stability and performance on very different and stressful gravel stages in WRC.
Tread pattern and profile is an evolution of the successful WRC K tire with changes to the block density, groove depth and siping. Additional sidewall protection ribs guarantee the maximum resistance to accidental damage. Internally the construction geometry and carcass materials together with the tread compounds, both hard & soft have been specifically developed to adapt to the characteristics of the best Rally car in the world.
Snow
SOTTOZERO™: the typical tread pattern guarantees maximum grip level also in snowy, cold and slippery condition.
This tire is characterized by a symmetric directional tread pattern ensuring a perfect adaptability to the different types of surfaces encountered at the Monte Carlo Rally.
It has dense siping in the center blocks for better traction and braking and more robust blocks on the shoulder for increased stability. The intermediate tread blocks have the stud position indicated and can be used with or without studs depending on conditions.
This tire has been designed for use on mixed conditions up to 30/40% snow/ice and asphalt.
Ice
SOTTOZERO™ ICE: the directional asymmetric design together with the patented Pirelli studding process guarantees the best stability and grip of the studs This heavily studded “Sweden” tire, has an asymmetric design which is ideal for snow-covered and icy surfaces. The specific orientation of the tread blocks together with the patented Pirelli studding process guarantees the maximum stability and retention of the studs, resulting in maximum traction and grip in even the most extreme surface conditions.
For the WRC this tire is available only with "Sweden" type studding, a protrusion of 7mm.
